When I was still in school, every night I would always see my father sitting in the living room, sitting silently without watching anything, not watching TV, just sitting quietly with his cup of coffee. Sometimes I wondered, what was going on with him, why was he like that? After several years, until my father left me for good, and now that I’m 40 years old, I finally realize and understand what my father was doing every night back then. Yes, what my father used to do, I now find myself doing every night. I sit quietly, reflecting on what lies ahead for me, thinking about my children and wife, and worrying about my work. In the end, I now know what my father was doing back then, because I am experiencing it myself. Thank you, Dad, for always supporting me since I was a child. Even though our farewell was not a pleasant one, I always pray that you find the best place to rest.
